Threaded rods: main characteristics
Threaded rods are a very versatile fastening element, often used in sectors such as construction or DIY. They offer a robust grip for a wide range of applications such as the installation of suspended objects (fans, air conditioning units, etc.).

At INDEX you will find two types of threaded rod coatings, one made of steel with a zinc-plated coating and the other with an A2 stainless steel finish. The zinc-plated coating is corrosion-resistant and the A2 stainless steel is characterised by its high resistance to wear and tear. Therefore, the choice between the two threaded rods depends on the area of application as well as the climatic conditions.

On the other hand, as far as threaded rod sizes are concerned, we offer different length and metric options in our catalogue: you will find one-metre rods with zinc-plated finish and A2 stainless steel; and a 2-meters zinc-plated threaded rod for cases where this is required – avoid splicing two one-metre-long rods together. Metric sizes range from metric 4 to metric 36.


Other fixing accessories
At INDEX, we also offer fixing accessories for threaded rods such as coupling nuts, which are suitable for use over long distances, e.g. in commercial premises. In our catalogue you will find three different varieties: hexagonal with zinc-plated coating, cylindrical with zinc-plated coating and cylindrical in A2 stainless steel. All of them manufactured with top quality materials.
