WRAS - Water Regulations Advisory Scheme

The WRAS certification certifies that the chemical anchor, once cured, is suitable for contact with water for domestic use, having fulfilled the requirements of BS 6920-1: 2000 and/or 2014 “Suitability of non-metallic materials and products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regard to their effect on the quality of the water”.

The WRAS certificate is an approval system of the United Kingdom’s Water consisting of two requirements that cover non-metal materials in contact with potable water and mechanical performance.

In INDEX’s case, it certifies that the chemical anchor, once cured is suitable for contact with water for domestic use, having fulfilled the requirements of BS 6920-1:2000 and/or 2014 “Suitability of non-metallic materials and products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regard to their effect on the quality of the water”.
