Screws with flat and extra-flat heads suitable for fixing in applications on metal where very low head height is required, avoiding interference with mobile elements and providing an aesthetic finish. INDEX sheet metal screws are characterised by their self-tapping ISO 1478 thread and C-point. They are perfect for sheet metal-plate connections or other applications such as aluminium carpentry. We have a wide variety of heads, diameters and lengths to suit all types of assemblies. Moreover, in our catalogue you will find versions in stainless steel and in RAL colours painted in different sections: just the head; head and EPDM washer or in complete form, so you can find the one that best suits the needs of your project.

The INDEX self-drilling screws, on the other hand, are characterised by having a drill point, which drills directly into the material without the need for prior drilling. They are ideal for joining metal to wood, metal elements to metal or plastic or wood to other metal elements. Within our selection of self-drilling screws, you will find a wide variety of diameters, lengths and tips. When choosing the right type of point for your project, it is important to consider that the total thickness of the metal elements to be joined is less than the cutting edge of the drill point. If this step is carried out incorrectly, the screw may break.
