UKCA®

Die UKCA-Kennzeichnung (UK Conformity Assessed) ist die neue britische Produktkennzeichnung für Bauprodukte, die in Großbritannien (England, Wales und Schottland) vermarktet werden. Sie trat am 1. Januar 2021 in Kraft. Sie gilt für die meisten Produkte, für die bisher eine CE-Kennzeichnung erforderlich war.

Die UKCA-Kennzeichnung wird auf dem EU-Markt nicht anerkannt. Produkte, die eine CE-Kennzeichnung benötigen, müssen weiterhin mit der CE-Kennzeichnung versehen werden, um auf dem EU-Markt in Verkehr gebracht zu werden.

Die Anforderungen für die UKCA-Kennzeichnung sind derzeit ähnlich wie die für die CE-Kennzeichnung; sie können sich jedoch in Zukunft unterscheiden.

Die UKCA-Kennzeichnung ist an folgendem Symbol zu erkennen,

während die anderen Identifikationsdaten auf der Verpackung (Leistungserklärung, geltende technische Norm usw.) ähnlich wie bei der CE-Kennzeichnung beibehalten werden müssen.

Die CE-Kennzeichnung wird weiterhin für Produkte anerkannt, die in den 27 EU-Ländern und Nordirland in Verkehr gebracht werden.
