UL

As homologações UL (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) certificam que os produtos são adequados para a fixação de elementos de sistemas de aspersores contra incêndios.

Os mesmos são submetidos a testes de carga de acordo com a norma UL 203. Para obter uma homologação, o processo de fabrico e teste do produto é submetido a uma auditoria independente que demonstre que os mesmos são produzidos com os meios adequados e que são controlados por pessoal qualificado mediante processos de inspeção e testagem aprovados. Uma vez obtida a homologação, é realizada uma auditoria quadrimestralmente.

Os produtos com certificação UL são indicados na embalagem com o logótipo “UL” seguido do número da certificação.

A Underwriters Laboratories Inc., uma empresa de consultoria de segurança e de certificação, foi fundada em 1893 em Northbrook, Illinois (EUA). Disponibiliza certificações relacionadas com segurança, validação, testagem, inspeção, auditoria, consultoria e capacitação de serviços.

Atualmente, conta com 64 laboratórios, instalações de teste e certificação para clientes em mais de 100 países.
