The Spanish firm widens its range of high-end products with this top-performance anchor.
Logroño, 19th October 2012. INDEX Fixing Systems, manufacturer and industrial supplier of anchors, screws and other fixing systems, presents its new MTP control-torque expansion anchor, which has obtained the European Technical Approval (ETA 12/0397) in Option 1, the highest possible category.
INDEX Fixing Systems MTP is a heavy-duty anchor, made of white zinc-plated steel and a stainless-steel A4 clip, which grants this anchor a high resistance to corrosion. The control-torque allows an ideal installation thanks to the low friction level of the cone and the clip. It is also highly resistant to traction and shear, and both in cracked and non-cracked concrete C20/25 and C50/60. When any new cracks appear, the anchor expands again in order to compensate the gaps. It is fire resistance class R120.
The upper part of this new anchor is length-marked for easy identification, even after it has been installed. The new MTP is especially recommended for fixing catenary systems, security elements and high-load structural applications, as well as heavy-duty machinery.
