Suitable for industrial and construction applications, for creating secure anchor points in structures, machinery, equipment or any element that requires lifting or attachment with a rope, cable or chain. The internal thread of these eye bolts allows quick, secure connections.

They are made from carbon steel with zinc plating or from A4 stainless steel, materials which offer a long lifespan and great resistance to corrosion and rust. The quality of their materials and their meticulous design means that these eye bolts provide reliable and secure attachment.
Before use, the ring must be checked for its proper installation, and it is also important to follow these instructions:
- Deformed rings must not continue to be used or be reused, and must be replaced if possible.
- In case of installing the eye bolt in a through hole, a nut must be completely threaded and tightened on the other side.
- Their use is not valid as personal protective equipment (PPE).

SHACKLES
A shackle is an accessory used as an intermediary piece between the eye bolt or hook and the sling. It is comprised of a ring and a pin that are used to support chains, immobilise objects or move them in a faster and more streamlined way.

Lyre shackle for fastening cables, chains and ropes. Lyre shackle type 82016 suitable for lifting loads, also known as an arc shackle. Lyre shackles are designed to withstand up to two loads on their arc section, never on the pin. For proper use, the bolt must always be attached to the straight pin while the cable must pull on the arc of the shackle.

THIMBLE
Thimbles are used to protect cables or ropes from friction and wear when they pass over a surface or angle. The curvature of the thimbles minimise and evenly distribute the forces, preventing breakages.
At INDEX we have two types of coatings for thimbles: zinc and A4 stainless steel. The latter is recommended for more corrosive atmospheres where greater protection is required, such as coastal areas or spaces with a high incidence of condensation.

Hook-Ring turnbuckles allow a wide variety of installations thanks to the great versatility of assembly offered by the hook and ring combination.
Ring-Ring turnbuckles offer optimal installation for applications that require a high level of reliability and greater resistance to traction; this is guaranteed with the installation of rings on both sides of the turnbuckle.
Hook-Hook turnbuckles are especially practical for quick, easy installations which require tightening ropes with loops, harnessing cables, bars, chains, etc.
Rod-rod turnbuckles are specially designed for applications where welding is required for the connection of cables. Welding must be precise to guarantee the proper performance of the assembly.

Common applications
CABLE CLAMP
Cable clamps allow the cable to be passed through the interior without having to use specialised tools.
Flat cable clamps have a nut on the rear section, which when tightened offer quick, effective and secure assembly. A more aesthetic assembly is also achieved, reducing the visibility of the connections.
They are used in different industrial and construction sectors. A4 stainless steel versions allow their use in nautical applications or inclement weather.
For proper use of the cable clamp, the distance between fastenings must be between 1.5 and 3 times its width.
