UL approvals (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) certify that products are suitable for fixing elements of fire sprinkler systems.

They are subjected to load tests according to the UL 203 standard. To obtain an approval, the manufacturing and testing process is subjected to an independent audit to demonstrate that they are done using the proper means, and are controlled by qualified personnel under approved inspection and testing processes. Once the approval is obtained, quarterly audits are performed.

Products with UL certification are indicated on the packaging with the “UL” logo followed by the certification number.
